![]() Despite featuring a different global conflict, all of BFV felt like DLC for Battlefield 1.īased off of that I know it’s easy to fall into the pit of doubt towards DICE and this upcoming Battlefield 6 title. I absolutely loved Battlefield 1‘s multiplayer but BFV began to feel like more of the same and failed to innovate and differentiate in my opinion. On the multiplayer side few of the maps stood out visually or in terms of layout and the experience felt and looked too much like Battlefield 1 from 2016. They didn’t give me enough time to get invested in the characters and the open-area objective-based levels weren’t fun to explore. ![]() The War Story campaigns were so short that they almost began to feel like tutorials super forgettable. I think it’s safe to say that Battlefield V in 2018 was a massive disappointment. What will that look like with BF6? As somebody who loves single player FPS story campaigns I’m dying to know what Battlefield 6 is going to offer after the past two installments featured the brief War Story vignettes in place of a traditional single storyline campaign. Large-scale destructive battles with tons of tanks and planes zipping around is the certified Battlefield identity. ![]() For the longest time Battlefield has been known to have a significant focus on multiplayer. ![]() Some things are heavily rumored about Battlefield 6 (official title still unconfirmed), like its potential modern day setting and battle royale, but there’s still a lot we don’t know yet. Battlefield is back later this year! EA’s storied first-person shooter franchise will make its return after Battlefield V‘s WWII venture three years ago. ![]()
